A Day at the Park: Part One
By Cameron
6/8/01

Little Simmy was excited when he found out that the new jungle park had finally opened. He got out the hammer and disintegrated his piggy bank. He had scrounged up just enough for the park entrance fee: §25.

The large purple bus arrived in front of the bus stop. He along with 30 other screaming sim children boarded the bus. Yes, it was a bit like a sardine can, but Simmy wouldn't let that slow his excitement. He was bouncing around just like all the other sim children, clutching his money.

Little Simmy is just like his other sim companions. Eager for fun, and drenched in his money, ready to buy food and balloons. One should always have the highest quality of items at their park. Your customers will be happy, and you still make a large profit margin. Now with ticketing, that is a different story. Although your park may be popular early on, soon it will dull down. If you raise ticket prices to quickly, you risk losing your business.

The bus pulled in front of the park. Simmy had picked a seat in the front so he would be one of the first ones off the bus. He hopped off and ran towards the park. After buying his ticket, he walked in, awed by the magnitude of it all. Hungry from his trip he stopped by a burger stand. The burger was delicious, high quality.

Quality is one of the keys to success. If you have a good park, then you will be receiving a lot of busloads of happy, energized sim children.

The large coaster loomed over little Simmy, would it be his demise or would he ride it again. Come next week for: Excitement-good or bad.
