The Sims 2 users should be ready for a scare, as the latest screenshots at TheSims2.com give a close up view of the spooks of The Sims 2. Bringing back the ghost feature from the original Sims, your friends from beyond will still visit you, however in a non-corporeal form. So if you have a timid Sim, they very well be in for a shock when they check out the grave yard...

Announced on TheSims2.com, The Sims 2 will be arriving September 14th in two forms: traditional CD and Special Edition DVD. The DVD version will mostly add a "Behind the Game" perspective along with a Film Making 101 tutorial. It is very likely that the CD version will have multiple CD's so the DVD version is a bargain seeing as it costs the same as the CD version ($50) and includes even more.

The folks over at SimTropolis have recently started work on a new modd for SimCity 4. This modd is called SimMars and will give the latest SimCity a Martian feel to it. The first Beta is currently expected in the next 6 months. To find out more, visit SimMars.net.
