Online Piracy -- Posted by Matej on Tuesday, October 29, 2002

Maxis/EA are coming out with many games over the next few months. Unfortunatly, along with these games, online piracy also comes along. Several websites already have versions of The Sims Online on them, and it is only a matter of time before SimCity 4 and other Maxis products are placed online. Online piracy hurts businesses, and in the end, hurts everyone by forcing companies to increase prices. If you find any online site that advertises any Maxis/EA copyrighted product, or any other copyrighted material, contact us at webmaster@simglobal.net. We will then proceed to contact the proper authorities. Remember, stopping piracy helps everyone involved.

If this continues over the next few months, we will certainly seek a more stable server.
