It would as though SimCity 5 may be well on its way to developement. Confirmed by many sources, although denied by EA, it is very likely that SimCity 5 work began in January, however don't expect any screenshots for quite a while. Whether or not this means no more SimCity 4 Expansion Packs is a bit premature, however SimCity 4 certainly has quite a bit of life left in it. Check out the full details here.

You can now have a look at some transcripts from The Sims 2 chat that took place a couple of days ago. It is packed full great details about the game including information on campus towns, objects and new interactions. You can find the entire transcript at TheSims2.com.

Looking at a Gamespot article it would seem as though EA wants a The Sims reality TV show. How precisely this show would work is still not fully developed, although some proposals would like to have gamers from all over the world controlling the "Sim" participants, just as they would in The Sims games.

An Slashdotted article posted today discusses how many downloads from The Sims 2 Exchange created by other users have been hacked to give the player the upperhand.
