Check it out here.-Cameron 6/12/02:A SimCity 4 video from E3 has been put up on the SimCity 4 website at simcity.ea.com/simcity4/videos.-Cameron 6/9/02:The nominees for the Game Critics Awards: Best of E3 2002 have been chosen , with SimCity 4 being nominated for Best Simulation, and The Sims Online being nominated for Best of Show, Best Original Game, Best Simulation, and Best Online Multiplayer Game. They are the start of our new series, "Affordable Housing by SimGlobal." These new houses are under §20,000, are well furnished, leave you with enough money, and are professionaly designed for your pleasure. You lose a lot of money building houses, but buying a pre-built one from the Affordable Housing selection makes simming fair again.~Matej 9/6/01: Hey folks! We have just found some new screenshots for The Sims: Hot Date on The Sims Resource. The link is to the 6Volt Sims Archive, where it mentions the photos are fakes. ~Cameron 7/5/01: Maxis announces a new expansion pack for TheSims. It is called "The Sims Hot Date" and centers on the dating side of TheSims. A downtown area will be added for dating purposes, and Sims will be able to ask other Sims out. And I quote: "The Sims Hot Date Expansion Pack represents an entirely new experience for The Sims-dating! With exciting new characters, interests, romance objects, and an all-new Downtown area filled with restaurants, shops and parks, The Sims Hot Date will get your Sims off the couch and into the singles scene. Play matchmaker for your Sims and watch them become Casanovas or Casanevers. " ~Official Maxis/EA Press Release 7/5/2001 The Sim community has shown mixed feelings over this announcement. Some say, get on with TheSims Online and forget about expansion packs, while others are eagrly awaiting Hot Date. ~Matej The Sims Online News 6/22/02:We can now expect The Sims Online to come out anywhere from November 18 to a more likely December 1st.
